Loi Kratong

this week end in Thailand was the Loi Kratong festival
it's the celebration of the goddess of water and it is meant to apologize with her for the use we make of her element.
What you do is to compose a flower with leaves or anything else natural and put a lit candle and some money on, maybe a hair or something personal (not too grose..) and let it float on the river or the sea, that flower will take away your old life and will bring the goddess the apologies and the wishes for the new life
now isn't that just poetic?
I sent her a bread flower for the fishes and asked happiness for all my friends in need of joy, it joined the chain of lights floating in the river,
then I got drunk aha
